You don’t know me (yet…anyway), but I’ve been biohacking myself – via exercise, supplements, meditation, you name it! – for more than 30 years, all in the name of longevity. After hitting the gym 6-days/week for three decades, I asked myself, ‘how might I continue to improve my physical fitness while also getting a mental boost without adding yet another routine to my already busy life?’ That’s when I found rucking.
What basically amounts to walking or hiking in nature with a weighted pack, has become a savior to me. Rucking has enabled me to fully disconnect from my digital devices, and even the four walls of the cold gym, while raising my heart rate and building muscle. And…unlike sets at a gym, I’ve found rucking to be something I can do with my wife, family, friends, and dog, in a social way.
After a few years of rucking and working out (often in my backyard) while wearing my ruck pack, I feel better than I have in 30 years. My body is toned, my heart and lungs are purring, and my mind is clear and focused.
And that’s why I started this newsletter. Though this may sound grand, I think rucking is one of the best ways to live a longer, healthier, more satisfying life. And…I want to share the best information out there with as many people as I can.
With this short, simple weekly newsletter, I’ll send you new workouts, ideas, success stories, and information related to rucking. I am excited to have you onboard.
